On 22 October 2009 a meeting was held in the Ministry of Local Government to the representatives of several universities, ministries and the already established EGTCs, where they agreed on the establishment of a professional working group.
The principal objective of the working group is to provide a platform to professionals involved in EGTCS that enables the joint answering of questions connected to the establishment and operation of EGTCs and the joint preparation for the EU presidency in 2011. The EGTC homepage of the Ministry of Local Government will provide information regularly about the work of the working group.
