Several Community and other support sources are available to the development of cross-border and transnational cooperation.

Union and other support sources available to EGTCs

Several Community and other support sources are available to the development of cross-border and transnational cooperation. These monetary funds are also available to EGTCs, through these cross-border groupings can receive important development grants.

The following support sources are available to EGTCs: Cross-border, interregional and transnational programs and their availability:

Drawing of grants: 1. To obtain a grant an application should be submitted according to the conditions set forth in the call for applications. 2. The formal and contentual elements of the applications should comply with the requirements set forth in the call for applications. 3. The objectives of the application should fit into the objective system of the particular program. 4. The implementation process of the applications, the achieved outputs, objectives and effects should be as undertaken in the preliminary application material (or the grant contract). The scheduling of the calls for applications: he different funds make their support grants available (applicable) with different scheduling! There are grants that are: • constantly applicable • periodically repeating • can be applied for once or a few times It is very important that the executives and workers of EGTCs get information regularly about the calls for applications available at the different funds!
